Perrault Blair Law Group recently sponsored the 13th Annual Dennis Bistany Golf Tournament at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club in Methuen, Massachusetts. Mr. Bistany was a beloved teacher and coach in Methuen, MA. In 2009, he tragically drowned while coming to the aid of another swimmer in his group. He was 43 years old and a 6th grade teacher at the Marsh Grammar School. Perrault Blair Law Group is grateful to be a part of this tournament and for the opportunity to honor his legacy.

The Bistany Memorial Golf Tournament is hosted by the Methuen Athletic Improvement Committee (MAIC) and the Methuen High School (MHS) Boosters. The Methuen Athletic Improvement Commission is dedicated to promoting and providing support pertaining to sports programs in the City of Methuen. It was created through the collaborative work of local youth sports programs in Methuen. They believe in the investment of Methuen children through maintaining, updating, and building sports venues that have multipurpose use and benefit the greater youth of Methuen. The Methuen High School Boosters, part of the MAIC, is an organization consisting of parents, families, and friends. Their goal is to provide Methuen High School athletes with various events to celebrate individual and team accomplishments. Together, they make the Annual Dennis Bistany Golf Tournament possible.
